Billy Currington is prepping the release of his new album Summer Forever, and just like all of you, we can't wait. In fact, we're so excited that we convinced him to let Taste of Country readers hear some of the tracks before you can buy them, through a series of exclusive lyric video previews. This one is called "Good Night."

This song — penned by Daniel Tashian, Claire Guerreso and Rosi Golan — follows the pattern of the upbeat fun-loving vibe that flows through the rest of the album. The mid-tempo jam makes you want to dance around the living room with the one that holds your affection:  "It's a good night for falling in love / It's the right time for sippin' a little bit of whiskey / It's a good night for slowin' it down / Throw some wood on the fire, let the flame burn higher," Currington sings, while Jessie James Decker provides background vocals.

Currington worked on the 12-track summer-themed project with producer Dann Huff. They focused on a vibe that would perfect any summer playlist.

Summer Forever for me represents a positive, happy, good time lifestyle and that’s what I hope the fans feel when they hear this record,” Currington says.

Recent No.1 "Don't It" is featured on the album, which is set to be released on Tuesday (June 2). You can pre-order the album here, so you can sing along when he plays the Taste of Country Music Festival in June, or on Tim McGraw's Shotgun Rider tour.
