Blind Joe Bommersbach stole the show Monday night (Oct. 19) on The Voice. The 32-year-old singer and guitarist faced off against Blaine Mitchell in the Battle Rounds with an energetic performance of "Old Time Rock and Roll," and he came out on top.

Dressed in a black cowboy hat and sitting with his guitar, Blind Joe had Blake Shelton looking on, nodding in approval as he picked along to the song on guitar. While Blaine frequently jumped around the stage and put his arm around Blind Joe for a lively number, ultimately it was Blind Joe that won over the judges.

"Man, that was exhilarating," Pharrell Williams told both contestants. "I didn't expect you to be as soulful as you were. I may have to go with Blind Joe, but you both were honestly great."

Gwen Stefani also showed her support for Blind Joe, telling him that her son just bought a cowboy shirt like the one he was wearing.

"It's so incredible how we're all given our own gifts in life and yours was to sing and play that guitar the way you do so uniquely and I just feel so lucky to be on the show to witness that," she said. "You are incredible."

Meanwhile, Adam Levine said their performance made him want to be drunk at a bar and close to getting into a bar fight. "Blind Joe, I love you. You're fantastic," he added.

While ultimately the difficult decision went to Shelton on choosing who won the round, after much deliberation he concluded that the winner of the battle was Blind Joe.

"I chose Blind Joe because he's something really special and moving forward I want to keep him doing some of that rockin' country stuff that he loves to do," the country singer admits.
