Carrie Underwood performed her new song "Southbound" at the 2019 ACM Awards, and it became a pool party!

Underwood opted for a change of scenery, kicking off her post-maternity leave performance at MGM Grand Garden Arena's pool. Her sunglasses and rainbow romper should have been the giveaway that she was back in Las Vegas to play — joining her at the pool were her Cry Pretty 360 Tour tourmates Runaway June and Maddie & Tae, who were eager to dance along with her.

From there, she hopped under an awning that 'lead' to the MGM Grand Garden Arena, where she was met with confetti and, no surprise, the ACM Awards stage and screaming crowd.

Underwood had tweeted earlier that she was up late with a congested baby and migraine, but you couldn't tell — she smiled and danced, looking elated to be back onstage after giving birth to son Jacob in January.

Besides performing, Underwood was nominated for Female of the Year award, up against Ashley McBryde, Maren Morris, Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves. Musgraves ultimately won, but the one-time American Idol winner probably had more fun.

"We're gonna get a little southbound, unwound, Tennessee Honey kinda buzz / Then south sounds up loud, summer drippin' over us / Wanna give a bang to the party cove / Long as it floats, we'll rock the boat / And it's all lookin' up when we get down, yeah / And get a little southbound, southbound / Get a little southbound, southbound
/ Oh, yeah," Underwood sings in the pop-friendly "Southbound."

Later in the night, she performed on the ACMs with This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, Mickey Guyton and Maddie & Tae, singing "I'm Standing With You" from the upcoming Breakthrough movie soundtrack.

Underwood will begin her Cry Pretty Tour 360 in late May; she'll play North America and the U.K. throughout the rest of the year with support from Runaway June and Maddie & Tae.
