Chris Stapleton Couldn’t Stop Giggling After Learning His Wife Is Expecting Twins
Chris Stapleton and wife Morgane already have two kids, but his reaction to finding out his wife Morgane is pregnant with twins? Priceless.
In an interview on Sunday Today, the "Broken Halos" singer shares that he's ready for two babies now, but that he laughed when he learned that twins are on the way. "I think I laughed for about 20 minutes straight when they told us, I laughed like out of shock. I didn't know what else to do," he says. "I was in shock, shocked is the only word."
"It wasn't really even a laugh, it was more like a giggle," his wife describes, supporting the claim. "He giggled for like 25 minutes."
The couple have a young daughter and son, and the kids apparently want the babies to be one of each sex. "They want one of each so they each get a new buddy, that’s what they say ... I’ll see what I can do,” Morgane teases, adding that she didn't want to know the sex of the babies before they're born, but since their kids do, she's giving in to the request.
Following two wins at the 2017 CMA Awards for Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for From A Room: Volume 1, Stapleton is nominated in three categories at the 2018 Grammy Awards: Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance.
The couple's family expands by two sometime in 2018.
