Hillary Scott’s Daughter Is ‘Learning to Fly’ on Piano
Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott is currently counting down the days before she welcomes her twin babies, but in the meantime, she's finding time to document some sweet moments while still a family of three.
In an Instagram post Jan. 21, Scott showed off her firstborn, Eisele, practicing piano with dad Chris Tyrrell. Tyrrell is a drummer by trade, but he apparently knows his way around a keyboard as well, and his patient instruction with his daughter is too cute to watch. The two take on the late Tom Petty's 1991 hit "Learning to Fly," with Eisele picking out the melody while dad takes care of the back end.
It wouldn't be surprising if Eisele turns out to be a musician herself, as she comes from a rich musical lineage on both sides of the family. Eisele will be 5 in July, and will be joined by twin baby sisters in February. Scott announced her pregnancy with a heartfelt video of her and Tyrrell telling Eisele the exciting news, and the family has been sharing a variety of touching photos documenting the journey.
This pregnancy is poignant for the family, as Scott previously tragically suffered a miscarriage that ultimately inspired her powerful gospel song "Thy Will." She co-wrote the song and included it on her family's gospel album, Love Remains. The record was named Best Contemporary Christian Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards, and "Thy Will" took home the award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.
