It’s no secret Keith Urban’s guitar playing skills are off the charts, but newcomer Lindsay Ell is giving him a run for his money. The two appeared on stage together at the Allentown Fair in Pennsylvania on Thursday (Aug. 31), where they riffed together at the end of Urban’s “We Were Us,” both showing off, but having a blast doing it.

The country-rockers' electrics wailed as the band charged through the last few bars of the song, both artists smiling at each other as they bent and pulled strings to create epic solos. Urban posted a video of the musical moment on social media, suggesting they do it again sometime.

“We Were Us” appears on Urban’s 2013 album Fuse and features Miranda Lambert on the studio duet. It served as the second single and hit No. 1 on both the Billboard Country Airplay and Hot Country Songs charts.

Lindsay Ell Proves She's a One-Woman RockStar With This "Criminal" Performance

Urban has been bringing in a few other guest artists to perform “We Were Us” with him on stage lately, like RaeLynn’s “full circle moment” in Oregon and Lauren Alaina’s performance in California. The artist just hit No. 1 with another duet, “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood, which appears on his recent album Ripcord.

Ell just released her new full-length record titled The Project, which debuted at No. 1 on the Nielsen Soundscan Current Country Albums Chart. Its most recent single “Waiting on You” is a soulful ballad co-written by the artist and reveals her melancholy romantic side, which also comes through in its music video. She recently performed it on Jimmy Kimmel Live alongside another new song, “Champagne,” and couple of covers.
