Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood Feels ‘Partly Terrified’ About Having a Daughter
Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and his wife Kelli are expecting their first daughter, and the singer admits the prospect is both exciting and somewhat daunting.
Haywood and his band mate Hillary Scott both announced they are expecting their second children in a joint statement on Thursday (Aug. 17), writing "Well, #BabyBellum round 2 is on the way! We're thrilled to announce the Haywoods are welcoming a girl this December, AND the Tyrrells are expecting in February 2018!!" on Lady A's Instagram.
On Friday (Aug. 18), Haywood turned to his own personal Instagram to share his family's excitement.
"Yes we are beyond excited for a baby girl this Dec!!! Really can't believe it. We feel very blessed, partly terrified, and I've already cried twice and the baby is not even here yet," he admits.

As a side benefit, he says his wife is looking great and adds that their son, Cash, is going to be "a great big brother!"
Scott also shared more baby news on Friday, revealing via Instagram that she and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, are expecting twins. The news is particularly sweet since Scott suffered a miscarriage in 2015.
"Because we’ve been so open about our last pregnancy loss and journey, I want to be fully transparent with you that this happened naturally. Chris nor I have any family history of twins that we can find and are just resting in the profound gift this truly is," she writes.
Haywood's daughter is due in December, and Scott's twins are due in February of 2018. The new additions will double the kids between the group members, including Haywood's son, Scott's daughter Eisele and singer Charles Kelley‘s son, Ward.
The group have not yet announced how the new arrivals will affect Lady Antebellum's upcoming schedule. The trio are currently enjoying a Top 10 success with their latest single, "You Look Good," and a new album, Heart Break. They're currently rocking venues all over the country on their You Look Good Tour, which features Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young as support acts.
