On Marshals, Kayce Dutton didn't expect to see his old friend Garrett walking across his property. At first it doesn't seem like they're friends at all.

A new clip available first to Taste of Country readers finds Garrett — played by Riley Green — approaching Kayce's (Luke Grimes) East Camp home. "You lost?" says Kayce.

"Not if I'm trying to figure out where all the cowboys have gone," Garrett / Green replies.

Marshals Season 1, Ep. 8: "Blowback"

Here is the official description of Ep. 8 of Marshals on CBS.

The Marshals go manhunting after receiving a tip that a dangerous fugitive is on the loose. Kayce and Cal struggle to reckon with their time at war when a former SEAL brother, Garrett (Riley Green), drifts back into their lives as they hunt a vicious enemy,

Grimes recently told Taste of Country that he and Green met at Jamey Johnson's wedding and almost immediately starting talking about getting him on the show.

Despite Green's fame and Grimes' assurances, producers still made him audition. So, somewhere out there is an audition tape of Green on camera with Grimes.

The veteran actor tells Taste of Country that Green crushed the audition.

While still a new show, Marshals has proven to be very good to country music. In addition to Green, Adam Sanders and Ashley Cooke have appeared in Season 1 episodes.

Grimes has also had new music featured. A song called "Haunted" played during the closing moments of Ep. 1.
