They may have spent the last 12 hours celebrating CMA wins and impressive performances, but these country stars are now facing some of their less kind critics. Thanks to Jimmy Kimmel’s recurring "Mean Tweets" segment, Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town, Darius Rucker, Kacey Musgraves and many more sat down in front of their toughest judges — the Twitter-sphere.

Reactions varied as each artist read out loud a disparaging tweet about themselves. Some couldn’t help but laugh, some deadpanned to the camera, some even agreed with the tweeters.

“Hunter Hayes is so tiny he sleeps in a hot dog bun,” Hayes read, then asked, “How'd you know?”

Some of the comments were pretty harsh, but some were just plain nonsensical.

“I don’t know what he just said," Underwood said with a laugh after attempting to read one about her.

The 2015 CMA Awards included many of the same artists shown here, with Underwood hosting, Rucker presenting and Musgraves, Little Big Town and Rhett all performing. Little Big Town ere nominated for several awards and nabbed a few, primarily for their hit “Girl Crush,” and Musgraves was up for Album of the Year. Rhett unleashed a high-energy collaboration with pop-rock band Fall Out Boy for his performance of “Crash and Burn,” and Underwood blew away the crowd with a performance of “Smoke Break” in between cracking jokes with co-host Brad Paisley.

It was an eventful night ... even if these Twitter 'fans' didn't think so.
