Seventeen-year-old RaeLynn opened the second season of 'The Voice' hoping to see Blake Shelton turn around during her performance of Pistol Annies' 'Hell on Heels.' The Baytown, Texas native got more than she asked for when Adam Levine fought hard to put her on his team.

The cute blonde showed country grit during the fiery performance. Levine was first to turn around, but Shelton was quick to follow. "I can't wait for Miranda to hear your version of that song. She's going to be thrilled," he said of his wife.

RaeLynn admitted that Miranda Lambert was a huge influence of her'. "Well, I know her," the country singer said with more than a touch of sarcasm. Levine lobbied hard to keep the teen, who stood on stage looking adorable in a cute A-line dress, wearing a big red flower in her hair.

"Why would you wanna be just a country star. Wouldn't you wanna be more than that?" she was asked. Shelton pretended to be offended, but any insult was soon forgotten when the singer made her choice.

"I'm gonna go with Blake!" she said, mouthing an apology to the pop-rocker on the other end of the row as she walked offstage.
