Rascal Flatts have added another notch to their belt of No. 1 songs with their latest hit “I Like the Sound of That,” which just hit the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase charts.

Written by Jesse Frasure, pop singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor and Shay Mooney of Dan + Shay, the song appears on the trio's latest record, Rewind.

“We've had a lot of fun with this single,” says Gary LeVox. “It’s a blessing and humbling to be achieving milestones such as these and it just motivates us even more to keep going on this crazy journey with our amazing fans. We can’t wait to catch everybody back out on the road this summer to celebrate.”

Rewind debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, marking the band as one of only four acts from the SoundScan era to have achieved eight consecutive No. 1 albums premiere in the slot. After wrapping a successful run in Las Vegas, Rascal Flatts are gearing up to head out on the road for their Rhythm and Roots Tour, bringing Kelsea Ballerini and Chris Lane along for the ride. They’ve said the tour will be a little different than in years past, shaking it up a bit in the same vein as their Vegas shows.

"We put a lot of thought into how to do that this year and mixing it up in Vegas was really fun so we decided to continue with this new change of pace out on the road this summer,” band member Jay DeMarcus shares.

“Last year was the first time we ever had backup singers so we changed the show up that way so every song is a little different,” LeVox has said about the Vegas run.

The band is also on the verge of opening their first restaurant, to be located in Cleveland, Ohio. The eatery — a project nearly four years in the making — is slated to open its doors later this year.
