Rascal Flatts Inspire Couple to Wed at Why Wait Wedding Chapel

When you're in love, why wait? That's the motto one couple followed at Rascal Flatts' Flatts Fest recently. The pair, Herman and Ludene, said "I do" at the country trio's Why Wait Wedding Chapel during the Mountain View, Calif. show on September 18, and thanks to a local radio station, now have a great memento in the form of a fun wedding video.

The minute-and-a-half-long video mimics a classic silent film, down to the black and white coloring and quick musical arrangement. Without any narrative, it's hard to tell that what's unfolding is actually a wedding, given the guest appearances by both Elvis and Gumby, who are very active in the ceremony. All of the personnel are sporting tuxedo T-shirts, while the happy couple are comfortable in their simple Western wear.

Clearly, this Why Wait Wedding event is anything but traditional, but we're willing to bet it's a day that neither Herman nor Ludene will ever forget. The Rascal Flatts boys don't pop up in the video, but we know they'd give their blessing to any pair who decided to tie the knot at one of their shows!
