William Michael Morgan and singer-songwriter Jennifer Wayne have announced their engagement.

The Runaway June singer turned to social media to announce the joyous news on Wednesday (Dec. 28), first teasing fans by hinting at a big celebration via Twitter when she posted a picture of a bottle of champagne and a bottle of wine. "It's this kind of night," she captioned the picture, tagging Morgan.

She added another picture on Friday morning (Dec. 30) of the two of them, smiling, with the caption, "My heart."

A few hours later, she completed the announcement by posting a picture of her clasped hands, showing off her engagement ring with the caption, "It's you and me ... Forever :)," tagging Morgan again.

23-year-old Morgan scored a breakthrough hit with his debut single, "I Met a Girl," which hit No. 1 in 2016, and released his debut album, Vinyl, later in the year. His current single is "Missing." He has a daughter from a previous relationship, Presley, who was born in March.

Wayne is one-third of the rising country trio Runaway June, whose debut single, "Lipstick," is currently climbing the charts. She was previously best-known as a songwriter, and she collaborated with Eric Paslay on his hit, "She Don't Love You." She's also the granddaughter of John Wayne, and before she pursued her dreams as a songwriter, she was a tennis pro and Amazing Race contestant.

Morgan re-tweeted the second of her pictures, but so far neither singer has provided any further details about their impending nuptials.

Their engagement caps off a year-end spree of joyous news in country music. Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini both got engaged over Christmas, while Ashley Monroe and Austin Webb  each announced they are expecting their first children. Love & Theft singer Stephen Barker Liles and his wife also revealed the gender of their second child, as well as the name they have picked out.
