On Saturday night's (July 7) WWE Money in the Bank Event in Toronto, John Cena took center ring and made a surprising announcement to the thousands in attendance.

John Cena Leaves Fans Stunned After Shocking Announcement

As the Money in the Bank Pay Per View Event was just beginning tonight, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus surprised fans by announcing that Cena was coming out.

Cena grabbed the microphone and was emotional when he announced that he was done with wrestling.

He also gave everyone the scoop on what his exit plan is.

Cena said he would be at the first RAW on Netflix in January. He then said he will appear at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 41.

Cena also had signature towels at the event. But his slogan was slightly altered.

The 16-time WWE Champion’s towels read, “The Last Time Is Now,” instead of “My Time is Now.”

Cena's shirt also said, “John Cena Farewell Tour,” which cemented in the fact that he was indeed calling it quits next year.

Cena is more than a wrestler, he is a philanthropist with a huge heart. He is in the Guinness Book of World Records for granting the most wishes for kids as part of the Make-A-Wish program.

Cena will surely be missed in the wrestling ring.
