Lady Antebellum Extend Take Me Downtown Tour Through Summer
Lady Antebellum are pretty much going to live on the road in 2014, following their 'Compass' to their fans. The trio has expanded its Take Me Downtown Tour, which will canvas nearly 80 cities thanks to the addition of a summer leg.
The tour opened last weekend and already the threesome is adding dates. The new summer leg will launch on March 22 in Phoenix and run through the end of August. The dates will go on sale beginning Jan. 24 here.
The band is riding high off the tour's launch, with Charles Kelley checking in and saying, "The energy from the crowds on opening weekend was like a drug…it was totally intoxicating. It felt so unbelievable to be back on stage together, and each night was better than the last. We're going on to North Dakota this weekend and from now through the summer amphitheater shows, we're going to try and raise the bar night after night."
That's good news for fans eager to grab tickets and see the group.
Lady A are currently touring with special guests Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves. They will continue on to the first newly announced summer shows. A combination of Billy Currington, David Nail and Joe Nichols will join Lady A for the remaining new tour dates.
