Lady Antebellum to Perform on Star-Studded ‘The Voice’ Finale
Even those who haven't been watching 'The Voice' this season will want to tune into the Season 2 finale. A star-studded line-up -- including Lady Antebellum, Justin Bieber, Daryl Hall and John Oates, and Flo Rida -- is on the slate for the May 8 final episode.
Excitement is building for the last episode, when a winner will be crowned, and it should be an action-packed night for fans of the competition-based singing show. At that point, each celebrity coach will have one star artist remaining to compete against the other teams' finalists. Before the end of the night, one competitor will be named 'The Voice' -- and the winner will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.
Plus, the guest performers are sure to reel in new audience members. Pop act and teen idol Bieber will perform the broadcast television premiere of his new single, 'Boyfriend.' Hall & Oates -- the No. 1 selling duo in history -- will perform 'Rich Girl,' a fan favorite hit from 1977. Lady Antebellum will bring a performance of 'Wanted You More' from their latest hit album 'Own the Night,' and Flo Rida will showcase a mash-up of his hit single 'Wild Ones' plus one other song.
For now, it's hard to say which artists will make it to the final round. Tonight (May 1), votes will determine which remaining member from Team Blake Shelton, either Jermaine Paul and Erin Willett, will go home. The pair performed a Lady Gaga number together on this week's episode of the show -- their last moment as a team. Coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine will also have to say goodbye to half of their last remaining artists.
'The Voice' coaches have some tough choices ahead, but that's the nature of the game. In the end, only one artist can be 'The Voice' -- and we're excited to see who makes the cut! And hopefully Lady A can help take the edge off a bit.
