Megan Moroney Reveals a Hidden Talent Nobody Knew About

Megan Moroney recently sat down with Cosmopolitan for a wide-ranging interview about songwriting, touring and some surprising personal fun facts.

During the interview, Moroney was given 30 seconds to flip through cards with questions on them and give short answers to each one as an insight into the popular singer's world that fans might not be familiar with already.

After searching the Internet high and low, I was not able to find anywhere where the "Am I Okay?" singer has said that she knows anything about American Sign language (ASL) — until now.

What is Megan Moroney's Hidden Talent?

The last question in the interview is "What's a hidden talent that you've never showed off?"

Moroney held the card over her mouth and started thinking. She then said,

"I can do sign language of the alphabet."

Then she proved it on camera, ripping through the alphabet in ASL like it was nothing.

It only took Moroney around four seconds to show off her hidden talent of being able to sign the alphabet.

Country Artists That Know Sign Language (ASL)

Ashley McBryde previously told Taste of Country Nights that she is learning ASL in her downtime. Her skills have come in handy when she's on vocal rest or needs to communicate with crew members visually onstage, and she also uses them to talk to deaf or hard of hearing fans.

In 2023, when a young fan wanted to hop onstage with her, McBryde was able to communicate with the girl's mother using ASL to make sure it was okay for her to get onstage.
