Miranda Lambert's Pink Pistol store has a fresh location in her hometown of Lindale, Texas, and the grand opening party promises to be a momentous occasion.

On Oct. 22, the Pink Pistol will host a block party, set to kick off at 10AM local time. The store itself will be open from 11AM-8PM and include an old fashioned soda fountain that will be serving all day, three photo booths and a big screen slideshow.

“It feels full circle to have everything under one 'roof' basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale,” Lambert says of her new storefront.

Patrons are encouraged to come to the grand opening party dressed in pink for a chance to win prizes for the Pretty in Pink contest. Of course, knowing the singer, the contest is open to both people and pets. Additionally, the Lindale High School Cheerleaders and Star Steppers will perform. There will also be a Terlingua North chili cook-off to benefit Susan G. Komen, as well as a Pink Pistol Pink Chili Competition.

Wine tasting will be available all day long, as well.

The Love and War in Texas music venue will also be open throughout the day, with former Nashville Star judge Charlie Robison performing. Lambert's MuttNation Foundation will be on hand for an adoption drive.

“Pinktoberfest is a wonderful opportunity to adopt a pet in need of a forever home,” Bev Lambert says in a press release. “We are so excited to be a part of this event. Whatever else Miranda does, her passion for the animals is always a constant and guiding force, one that started right here in Lindale.”
