This afternoon, the Band Perry performed their Grammy-nominated hit 'If I Die Young' on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' The performance marks the trio's second live television performance in L.A. in the past week -- on Jan. 29, the Band Perry performed on 'The Tonight Show.'

After DeGeneres introduced the group, the studio cameras cut to Kimberly, Neal and Reid, who were joined by a full backing band for their performance. Kimberly looked adorable, wearing a lacy black dress with her signature blond curls. The Perry boys kept it casual, wearing jeans and button-up shirts.

The Band Perry stuck to their normal instrumentation, with Kimberly on acoustic guitar, Neal on mandolin, and Reid on bass. A trio of musicians also performed with the siblings, playing the drums, violin and electric guitar to give 'If I Die Young' a richer sound. Kimberly's voice sounded melodic and sweet as her brothers harmonized on the backing vocals. The starry backdrop also added to the dreamy and beautiful quality of the song's lyrics.

After the song ended, the band was cheered on by the audience as DeGeneres walked onstage exclaiming "I love y'all!" in her best Southern accent. Kimberly then told DeGeneres, whose birthday was on Jan. 26, that they had brought her belated birthday present. "The gift was a 100% organic cotton scarf that we found at store called Barney's. When we saw it we thought, 'This is definitely Ellen,'" Neal Perry reveals, according to The Boot.
