The winter holidays only roll around once a year, so it's a good idea to soak up the new songs on the radio for Christmas 2011 while you can. When the snow is fresh and the cookies are hot, country music's jolliest stars break out their most festive tunes with a Christmas twist, just in time for Santa to pop down the chimney and land in leftover ash.

This year, Jerrod Niemann turned his successful 'One More Drinkin' Song' into a mistletoe remix, requesting another cup o' nog instead of another beer (just this once). The singer gives his best holiday advice, which is to avoid the malls and yellow snow in exchange for cozying up with your loved ones ... both human and beverage.

Toby Keith, on the other hand, is doing anything he can to avoid the cold weather in 2011. In his Christmas track 'Santa's Going South,' he and former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar load up their coolest summer attire for a much-needed trip to the beach instead.

Phil Vassar has a whole heap of Christmas tunes on the shelves this flurry season, starting with a swingin' ode to the Lone Star State called 'Big Ol Texas Christmas,' feat. Ray Benson from Vassar's full-length holiday compilation, 'Noel.' Additionally, 'Fish' hitmaker Craig Campbell takes a more traditional approach to the holidays with a country-infused rendition of the heartwarming classic, 'I’ll Be Home for Christmas.’

In a world where devastating natural disasters, tragic killings and missing babies are at the forefront of the news, you can always count on country music to spread holiday cheer one Christmas at a time.
