Riley Green might be one of country music's most-drooled-over sex symbols, but that doesn't make dating easy. In fact, he admits during a new appearance on the This Past Week w/Theo Von podcast, it probably makes it harder.

"It's really not that easy to meet a girl when you're doing what we're doing," Green confesses.

The singer points out that the places where he spends the most time — on the road, or at most of shows — aren't likely spots to meet the future love of his life. He also says that the traditional path of meeting someone at a bar is tricky for him due to his star status.

Why Is Riley Green Still Single?

The rumor mill has linked Green to a number of romantic prospects, including his fellow country stars Megan Moroney and Ella Langley. Everyone involved has more or less denied the stories (though Moroney did hint that there may have been a little something going on between her and Green at some point.)

And as of December 2025, Green flat-out said he wasn't dating anyone.

In conversation with Theo Von, the singer explains that he steers clear of situations that would allow him to meet a girl in a bar, because it makes him "anxious" when people realize who he is and start paying him undue attention.

"I don't like being the center of attention when I'm not supposed to," he explains, in contrast to times when he's on stage performing, and expects people to be watching him. "...Like, at a restaurant, it's not that people asking for a picture bothers me. I just don't wanna be standing up, causing a scene."

Finding love at his shows is out, and so is finding love on social media: "It's tough to know who you're meeting for what," Green says.

When Will Riley Green Find True Love?

Green says that his schedule is "gonna have to change" before he can focus on finding love and settling down. That might happen in a couple of years.

"I feel like if I could be in one place for a while, like, live somewhere," the singer reflects. "...Right now, I could go take a month off, but I just can't with everything going on and the opportunities I've got. I can't make myself do it."

It's easy to see why Green is backburnering simple life and dating for now: His music career has never been hotter, and he's got big-time new TV spots, too, including a guest role on Marshals and an upcoming coaching gig on The Voice.

"In a couple of years things will stop doing this," he says, making a gesture like a rising chart line, "and kinda plane off and I'll have this career and say, 'Alright, I'm gonna play 40, 60 shows a year.' I might film a little TV show, movie, whatever, and then I can have a life outside of it. But it's just tough to do it right now."
