Lady Antebellum’s Dave Haywood Welcomes a Baby Girl
It's a girl for Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood! The singer's wife Kelli delivered the couple's first daughter on Friday (Dec. 22).
Baby Lillie Renee Haywood joins older brother Cash, born in September 2014. She was born in Nashville at 11:14AM on Friday. Lillie Renee weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz., and measured 19 inches long at birth. She's named after both of her grandmothers.
"Kelli and Lillie are happy and healthy, and Cash is already a great big brother. God is good!" Haywood writes on Instagram.
The musician admitted in August that the prospect of having of having a little girl was both thrilling and a little bit daunting.
"Yes we are beyond excited for a baby girl this Dec!!! Really can't believe it.," he wrote. "We feel very blessed, partly terrified, and I've already cried twice and the baby is not even here yet."
Haywood and Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott announced they were both expecting in August, with Scott later sharing she was expecting twin girls in February. The total brings the Baby Antebellum clan to six, including Scott's daughter Eisele and Charles Kelly's son Ward, born in February 2016.
