The top of this month's Top 40 Country Songs list looks familiar. Two solo male vocalists are No. 1 and No. 2, but a pair of country women are close behind.

Kacey Musgraves got a big lift from her remarkable success at the 2019 Grammy Awards. "Rainbow" rests at No. 5, just behind the latest single from Kelsea Ballerini. Maren Morris and Carrie Underwood are also on this month's list, but all-female trio Runaway June made a big leap as they prepare to tour with Underwood in May.

March 2019's list includes several hit country songs from albums set to be released this month. That's the case for LoCash, George Strait and Jake Owen — all three men will drop a new project on the same day! Also, look for a new album from Morris in March.

The list of Top 40 Country Songs of March 2019 is compiled from Billboard chart data and sales figures, in addition to staff opinion and reader feedback.
